blimey, that was bloody good telly - bloody being the operative word. charlie brooker's zombie/big brother thing.

anyone else see it? it's on "every single fucking night of your life (at 10) until the grand finale looms into view on the Friday 31st October". so another four nights then.

i was not over the moon to see aisleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyne - who cb may or may not be shagging and who i generally quite like - with a knowing little cameo though. arsing nepotism.

ash-lean wasn't the only ex BB contestant though. there was a room full of them. it was the gag/carnage that was waiting to happen that surely flags up the viewer's own bloodlust regarding these people... the baying, crazed, mindless beasts we all are preying on a room full of easy flesh that and davina having her voice removed. oh the... irony (irony smiley please) nicely done though I like mr brooker's stuff but there were a few familiar themes my kids asked if that was what telly is really like... the answer would be: yes, but not everyone in tv is as likeable as the characters in dead set (and there's no disabled people)

yes, but aisleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyne got a special extra little bit of airtime, didn't she?

it was all very satirical. clever. funny. scary. more of the same to come, i hope.

your KIDS watched it?! firstborn lasted five minutes before deciding to leave the room while he could still do so with dignity. secondborn ran screaming the moment i turned the telly on.

will - how on earth did you explain the line "it smells like fingering in here" to your offspring?!

Is there gonna be a Celebrity Dead Set coming soon?

Richard and Judy would be good in that :thumb:

Sorry, Will :evil4:

'kin'ell that was really good telly, weren't it.

Caught up on these over the weekend. Thought it petered off a bit towards the end (and didn't have a particularly satisfying finale) but the opening episodes were just magic. And it got quite horrific in places. Big Brother meets 28 Days Later.

Is Brooker knocking off that Ashleen bird then? He used to live with that one who got her head cleaved off by the Asian lad at the locks.

Loadsa swearing in it it too - that moustachioed TV producer character was a proper swearer, wasn't he?

And I've have lurved to have been in that house - a nice threesome with the ginger Jock and the mouthy bird from the Bill and I could die a happy man (ripped apart by Zombies, natch)
