Is it just a Sarf-Eastern thing or has it hit the whole country ce soir?!

Just been up Lutonia tonight. Got to the ground 5mins after kick-off and was waiting for a mate to queue for tickets when the game got abandoned. I mean, it was snowing, but didn't seem that bad at the time. It's got worse though since up there.

Had a couple of drinks and just got back to Snorebans and it's like no one's even been outside here. We've got a good couple of inches of pure virgin snow! It's great!

There was nothing when I left the office in London earlier though, just a bit of drizzle at Farringdon.

Are we the only area adversely hit?

I'm not relishing standing watching the footy tomorrow. I will have more skins than an onion and will still have cold hands/feet/nose.

I couldn't believe it today when I logged into Facebook and every other person was talking about snow. It's not even Halloween!

Only Al will know what the heck I'm on about...

It was drizzling a bit when I left Luton station at about 4.30 and by the time I'd cycled up to Round Green it was pissing down. Thought, sod it, I'd still do the extra couple of miles I was planning out along the A505 and back. Turned round before I got to Lilly 'cos a blizard had started and I nearly froze to death in the less than 10 minutes it took to get home.

Still snowing now I think. Ride to the Station at 6am should be fun :nonono:

Sunny here. A beautiful autumn afternoon. Rainy season usually begins at the end of October, and in keeping with that tradition, rain is forecast for Friday. Next sunshine expected around mid-May.

No snow here, Bangor has SHIT weather, never gets too hot or too cold cos of all the sea. Howver, it is still so cold that when I went outside there were two tiny sonic booms and my feet briefly lifted off the ground.

When you're too old for snow, you may as well kill yourself.

Suppose the whole country will grind to a halt tomoroow claiming it's impossible to continue in snow. Must be a long boring winter in Sweden, Norway, Alaska etc etc etc.

What was pwoper mental this morning was that snow usually arrives when trees have shed all their leaves. They haven't yet, round our way, so all the branches were bowed with the weight of the snow on 'em.

I couldn't walk along the pavement to the station cos I only had about 3ft headroom with all the trees trying to touch ground level. Weird.

I was in Blackheath last night, South of the River - not even a drizzle, in Lewisham and London Bridge, pissing it down and when I got back to North London it was caked in snow and snowing heavily. Bloody weird!

Arsenal vs Spurs tonight - I hate Tottenham so much and they make my blood boil I could go and stand their naked with no layers and feel warm! :nod: Let's ave it Harry!

Started here early afternoon, just lightly.

Next time I looked out of the window it was really heavy flakes - there was enough to build a snowman! I didn't tho....... hadn't got any carrots in.

The M6, M42, M40 were all clogged up - even the Toll Road!

On the plus side, it kept the Trick or Treaters at bay last night!

I was at Chester Zoo yesterday and it was snowing quite hard at times.

The ground was so wet that it didn't stick.

Ah, you Brits are just cry-babies when it comes to snow..when I was growing up, I had to walk 9 miles in two feet of snow..every morning..even in July :lol:

o god,a sprinkle of snow in london area !!! wait until after new year when its 20 foot deep ( errmm whatever metres that is ) in the north !!! .gets up to bedroom window up here then dont you know,we will start to moan about it on here only when it gets news worthy proper nothern snow :laugh:
