Crazy is right, as is unbelievable, even after all of these years. Using the power of persuasion (and a few well-placed guns) to keep some people searching for some value in their lives in thrall to a twisted vision of their leader's vision of "utopia" shows that human beings, at time, still have a long way to go.
the documentary that aired on ESPN about the adopted son of Jones surviving the massacre because he was elsewhere in Guyana at the time is an excellent view, the current end result being the grandson of Jones is now a star player for the University of San Diego.
