The De La Hoya / Pacquiao fight was class last night. Both class fighters in and out of the ring. Sad to see the Golden Child to go down, but at least to a deserving fighter![]()

do you have classes in America? i thought you were all trailer trash? or,peeps living in shitty wooden houses that blow away when it gets windy? or stucco fronted houses, usually timber framed,we call stucco pebble-dash over here, its widely used on Council Houses, one up from a trailer. i think you stupid fuckin yanks call em housing projects or some shit like that

Didnt think it was that good myself.
Froch v Pascal was a great fight. But neither could hold a candle to some of the great UFC fights from this year, like Jackson v Griffin, Lesnar v Mir, Lesnar v Couture, or Anderson Silva v Dan Henderson.
Crass, Conflict, Poison Girls, Subhumans, Lost Cherees, Instigators... oh... that's not what you meant, was it? ![]()
Hatton up next for Pacman then.. Dela Hoya was shocking,a great fighter in his prime, but he looks an old fighter now.Time to hang em up Oscar, thanks for the memories.... Two class fighters though, first ballot hall of famers
Now,Froch v Calzaghe...mouthwatering. Calzaghe can't go on forever and should probably retire, but if he does'nt this is the fight for him now...
The Golden Child is being replaced, and you are right his age is getting to him. I'm glad he's being replaced by another fighter with dignity in and out of the ring. Just tired of the fighters like Ali, that fight great, but have the personality of an 8 year old playing footie in the park.
to Pacman, I'll be a fan of his for a long while...
The 8 year olds in the park love Ali..Everyone does.Certainly Dela Hoya and suyyytanly Pacman.. The aura if he came into your living room, you would an all. You would'nt notice Elvis*,if he walked in right behind him..
*unless he was all shook up![]()
You should really study Ali Edel, before you say he's a tosser.
He is one of the best human beings ever,ultimately...Look at his life outside the ring, and you will not be able to count the smiles on the amount of faces, and the lives he's touched.
Who,alive still, his better than him? And why?
Cos I'm fucked if I know.![]()
Which fighters are you on about that you think are like Ali,anyhow?
You might be right on Ali, I never really had an inclination to read about his life story. What I didn't care was all the talk he had, talking about himself so highly. For many its acceptable, as long as you can back it up... but I prefer actions to words, and if your actions are good enough, you don't need words.
Other boxers that promote themselves, always claiming to be the 'unbeatable boxer' are Tarver, Mayweather, and stuff like this 'trash-talking': http://www.touchgloves.com/news/2007/11/vargas_mayorga_has_a_big_mouth.html
