The Cribs and Johnny Marr

At Manchester Ritz on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th Feb. Booked tickets for the Friday at the princely sum of £16 including all charges.

I love the Ritz as a gig venue. Bargain price too.

Do we like the Cribs on here?

Is that how they are billing themselves these days? Not just "The Cribs"

Not for for me. Hey Scenesters was mildly amusing but other than that just boring. Two nights as well.

I presume Johnny Marr frittering between boring Indie bands is an acknowledgement of just how utterly terrible The Healers were.

The Cribs are the best British band around at the moment. I've mentioned them on here several times but there didn't appear to be many takers.

And they're not billing themselves as 'The Cribs With Johnny Marr'. Just 'The Cribs'. Marr is now a full time member and has been involved in writing the new album since the early part of last year.

Is the Ritz that gaff where Monaco played? I might come down for that. Seeing them at the ABC on the Weds.

the cribs are shite

Local lads done very badly,seen them a few times but i dont know what the fuss is about. overrated if you ask me!

I'm certainly interested in that, of course.

I've been enjoying The Cribs for the past few years and as a big Marr fan, would like to hear the results. Enjoy the gig!
