Do you have cheese with yours? Can't beat a bit of tangy, crumby Lancashire on top. Served with a glass of sherry, the dark sweet variety. Mmmm!

Yes, with cheese. Exactly the same way as you have apple pie.

EDIT: No pepper.

I'd rather have a mince pie than Christmas cake or pudding.

Here, we have cake too, but the cakes sold here for Christmas are basically mainly sponge with lots of whipped cream and strawberries on top of it.

I never eat Christmas cake, Christmas Pudding, mince pies, etc. I'd much rather have a second helping of the main course.

A good selection of cheese along with a bottle of vintage Port is a good idea though!

Nicely sets the mood to snuggle up on the sofa with a New Order DVD playing

He'll be pleasuring himself to the image of her majesty, he's always had a thing for German pensioners.

However....dear FUCK, that link appears NOT to be a wind up. I click "play now", expecting a big "what a wanker" or something.....and a login page appears......I'm rather frightened.

I'm also glad I'm not using BTinternet

That just sums up the average age group of NOOLers now, sat eating cheese drinking port and snuggled up on the sofa watching a New Order DVD. 20 years ago we'd have been jumping up and down screaming at DJ's to play some new order while throwing the twenty fifth pint of stella down or necks, Christmas eh! we only do it for the kids!

The Jemmy-H one woman riot

I've mixed cheese and cake before, though in an alternate manner. Cheese also accompanies apples very nicely. Note to Septics: However many things cheese works with....it should still not be considered a condiment.

No that's quite alright. I just hope and pray you don't end up like Nigella did at the end of the series; sitting alone stuffing herself whilst skimming through cooking magazines for all eternity.
