AAAAAAGH!!

Having an absolute nightmare. Booked 6 tickets for Hacienda Warehouse Project tomorrow night and tickets still haven't arrived. I have no confirmation email and when I tried to log into my ticketline account they have no record of me but my credit card has been debited to the tune of nearly £200.

Rang credit card company to get more information, but they're shut until Monday.

Rang Warehouse Project - shut.

Rang Ticketline - shut.

I'm panicking a bit now that I won't get refunded. Only occurred to me this morning that they still hadn't arrived.

What do I do?

Go and get pissed in the Bowler instead?

They are open tonight - could go down and speak to them I suppose.

No doubt there'll be touts tomorrow night, but that would be more money.

I'd go with the Bowler

EDIT: daft suggestion: it wasn't one of them tickets that you have to print out, was it?

Probably but have no record at all in my email!!

Got the Bonz and her mate coming up from London specially, they're not gonna be impressed. Bowler is a poor substitute when you've driven 100's of miles.

Wonder if Hooky and the Mondays will come to my house after and do a private show...

Did you check spam and junk boxes and so on?

Stupid ISP pre-filtering, it's all very handy until something like this happens.

Can you see your CC statement online? If so, has this rather large debit got the right name attached to it?

Gets better now! My laptop is goosed and can't be repaired for 2 weeks.

Now at my mums trying to log into my credit card account yet there is one question, for the life of me, I can't remember. I know I've written it down somewhere 'safe'.

Worried now I may have deleted it from my spam box by accident.

Fucksticks.

Is it just me or is that this is an annual event quite sad?

Last year I was almost begged to take free tickets and was in a pub five minutes walk from the venue. Didnt go and proceeded to stumble down to retro to get totally obliterated.

You need to find out who the ticket provider was. If the ticket hasnt been delivered they will leave them for you on the door. You wont get your postage back though.

It's ticketline, says so on my credit card bill but I can't get any further information as they are closed on a Saturday.

I bet that was a much better laugh.

I might go tomorrow, if I can get a tout ticket.

And if I can be bothered.

Fucking hilarious. Me and John got kicked out at 430am. John said he would be back home by 11pm.

Woo. Might do that instead then.

Oh my word, 2 1/2 hours later and I'm now in possession of 6 tickets!!

The gits sent me a general looking email which I opened 3 times but scanned quickly, not noticing a tiny link at the bottom.

Phew!

Thanks for help. Bet it's shit now!!

Either.......

A. You're seriously numb and have two accounts. B. Their systems have had a yuletide meltdown (probably arranged by the bonusless IT staff, who'll be on triple time and triple call outs to fix it). C. And I doubt, and dislike this one....you've been phished or simillar......be a bit of a lucky target though wouldn't it.

LOL...yup....numb, though not in the specific way I predicted

WTF have you done to the latop that'll take two weeks??????

I mean anything fixable you can get in 24 hours, anything else, it's time to bin the fucker and buy a new one. Why do I fear so much that the "broken" in question, is, in fact, windows gone mental and thoroughly knackered everything.

It's just been away to have screen fixed and it's been wonderful since. However I tried uploading some software (said it was done successfully) but when it restarted, it is coming up with a corrupt thing.

I might pm you Steve, people are probably sick of hearing about my problems today

I'm getting my computer wizard to take off my vista and put xp back on :thumb:

Blimey. And I was just getting ready to polish my baking trays instead! You spoil everything, Jems!

Let the real drama begin.

Probably just a matter of taking the responsibile program for a little walk ("here, hold this spade, these bags of lime are kinda heavy") down a leafy country lane. Spark up your add/remove programs thingy, and slaughter....sorry, chat to it, there. The problem in this case is, I'm glad to say, NOT located between the keyboard and the chair....vista still has a few gotchas in it. XP will piss you off much less on a laptop....and installing any windows on a lapper IS for those who know.

You two, on the town, is a terrifying thought.

One question though....after the first few refreshments, does either of you hear what the other is saying over the constant stream from your own gobs? I mean Hicksy can be heard clearly on the average airport taxiway.....and I've NEVER heard you breathe in! :evil4:

(I was just thinkin, how much trouble the above had landed me in.....when I had a vision of someone in much worse bother....imagine a guy who tries to slime, or otherwise irritates one or both of the nool-massive here.....a quick death would be better...."oh fer fook's sake luv, just kick me in the knackers will yer?")

You will pay for that, by helping me fix my laptop, no matter how long I need you on the phone for!

My laptop also died yesterday - luckily it's a work laptop and I'll just go and get a replacement next week! :)

(Bloody thing freezes with weird graphics over the screen - probably a loose/busted cable from the motherboard to the screen)

Ah well - good job I save all my data to a NAS then! :)
