I once tried to insert a king-size Toberlerone bar up his arse but, no matter how much saliva I applied with my tongue, his sphincter was too tight. Nice guy, though. Not at all like the twat on the telly.
Are we talking about the same person, BTW???

You've just put me right off toblerone now, thanks.
My flatmate, who many of you know, is often heavily ridiculed as being just like Terry Christian in the local pub. The barmaid actually says 'What you 'avin' Terry?'
He loves it. And she ain't no Dani Behr either.
Met him once at the MEN crimbo do in the early nineties...on a table with him and Mick Middles
...nice fella.....(Terry)...but a bobbins dancer.....
Gave him a Vikings badge at the Monaco Ritz gig!. The Wilson one as per my current avatar.
Read his autobiography 'My Word' last year. A very entertaining read especially if you want the scoop on how he got on with the other Word presenters. Mark Lamarr?
And as for that anal, er, problemo...OUCH!
He recommended a certain unknown Manc comedienne for a presenters role on the Word which the producers decided against in favour of Katie Putrick - felt they'd already got enough Northerners on the show i.e. him!. They missed out on Caroline Aherne. Cocks.
Went with Al, Ness, Greg and a few others to see him give a reading from his book at the South Bank last year. Good speaker, such a scally but came over as genuine and down to earth. Then watched Haslam DJ to a totally disinterested room.
I'd just like to take this opportunity to confess that I always fancied the arse off Katie Puckrick when she was on "The Word". Even with that whole silly eyebrow schtick she had going on.

+1
Didn't Puckrick have a bad spine or summat, or perhaps a debilitating disease which left her with little movement?
Anyways, I remember reading some interview somewhere years ago where she mentioned summat along those lines, and thought she sounded like she'd be really shit in bed cos she wasn't at all flexible. Which isn't nice, but there you go.
Amazed no one's mentioned the gorgeous Hufty yet? ![]()
Amanda de Cadenet for me, I'm afraid. Luvverly silly posh tart.

Tony Wilson night? I'd forgotten he was there until you reminded me. He was quite engaging to be fair, more than Haslam anyways! ![]()

Hufty was brought up the last time we did The Word (thread was mainly about how some of you fancied the rugby forward Danny Behr, when Katie and Amanda were far superior, very worrying to be honest). I still have nightmares about Hufty.
i accidentally watched some celeb bb the other day and found him mesmerising. he makes me believe mancs are an actual race; he's so perfectly tangibly typical.
yeh - met him n that fella (Rob) out of Goldblade at an Oasis gig in M'ter good ten yrs ago. Seemed to be a genuine down to earth fella, (quite the opposite of that fuck Mamood or whatever yr called today)

Are you OK? Do you need to talk about it? The horror will fade from memory eventually.
ages ago, before he perfected that gobby-Catholic-Man U supporting-ProfessionalManc(tm) persona. likeable enough, but he always knew he was going places. fair play to him for putting world of twist on the word though.
