Over the festive period. Chatting up this barmaid, a customer who is besotted for her, started having the old good try to intimidate me for chatting her up.

Nonetheless, just took no notice of him. Then he starts complaining to the other pub goers that he was "feeling stressed". Couldn't stop my giggling:)

You get weirdos going in pubs these day, haha, makes me laugh. No, I wasn't feeling threatened, but next time he does that, I am calling the police, no excuse

Its odd that people expect complete safety in an environment that feeds on all the worst vices of society. I would be astonished if there werent fights in most working class pubs on an almost daily basis, it is surely what they exist for. The Police should just fuck off and let the revellers batter each other to death.

:D The thing is, he just thinks he can just threaten people and expect people to be cowards like himself, I honestly couldn't stop laughing, it was hilarious

Good Wallace And Gromit avatar, DigiDiz. Watched the pair of em for the first time ever over Christmas. That villainous penguin 'Feathers McGraw' character in The Wrong Trousers short was hillarious.Downloaded the Were Rabbit film but think i prefer the half hour films.

Strangely, I've never encountered fighting at pubs/nightclubs here in Japan...even when they are absolutely pissed. (Not that I want to witness one.)

That being said, about two years ago, on New Years Eve, a guy tripped and fell, banged his head on the corner of the heater (he had a shaved head, btw), and blood came gushing out (it wasn't a deep wound, though).

But that's about it...oh, strange people that come and yell the phrase 'My dad is a businessman!' (rap-style) in just about every karaoke song anyone sings.

A few years back i was in a pub in London (near the British museum, forgot the name) havin a few pints with a friend.

Next to us there were two blokes having a beer also, they were talking to each other quite calm and normal but during the second pint their voices went up and my mate said, we have to leave here because there's trouble about to start. I said let's have one more beer and then suddenly these two guys start to fight each other going from one place to another, so fucking weird it was.

We left the place and i just couldn't believe what i just saw, kept me thinking for quite some time:scratch:

strange folks u run into sometimes...
