Speaking of Asian taxi drivers, there's an Indian bloke who takes me up to work now and then, he says Bangor's OK, but in Belfast people (well, other taxi drivers) literally drive like cunts the minute the see his face. When he said this, I burst out laughing, then caught myself on in case he was offended....he just grinned and said "yes...I DID learned to drive in India" and we both laughed heartily at the thought of some Belfast nob trying to out road-twat someone who could survive Dehli

(and yes, black folk and people from the subcontinent ARE still thin enough on the ground over here for people to notice when they see one, loads of south east asians though....can't imagine how they deal with the freezing temps, or the rainy season being on an off 14 times a day....it must drive them as bonkers as the natives go if it does the same thing for more than two days in a row).

Punjabi Indians, rather like Pakistanis, can often be very tricky and tend to dominate rather than assimilate. They have settled in Birmingham and London in very large numbers and the results havent been good.

POssibly true, possibly not. BUT the very worst offenders on that score are Brits themselves (mainly, I think, the Engerlish, paddies have their moments, but not the ones from the Brit bit, and they tend to limit their invasions to the US and Oz), who move to other countries and set up their own little communities, even opening their own shops and other facilities to ensure the locals receive to benefit whatsoever from the presence of a bunch of foreigh twats.

Finally watched the footage on the news and they are definately blowing this out of proportion. If they said "Prince William, what a dumb ass" then I would have agreed... but the reporters were calling for military disipline and possible expeltion from the military for this stupidness...

Well I didn't know the full meaning behind the shortening... I'm not sure how the British troops were where he was... but us military are a strange folk. We call each other racist names all the time, but out of mere affection and brotherly love (no misreading this you deviants!). No one uses them for thier 'racist' intention, but messing around... not sure if he was doing it in this fashion, cause it just doesn't work outside on the streets...

I don't see anything racist in calling someone by their race belonging, it's just where we all came from. Now calling people from Pakistan "Paki" is wrong because there is no such people or race called Paki. The name Pakistan doesn't mean you call them pakis like Ian Curtis. It's like Rajistan in India, they aren't all rajas there, most of them are kshatrias and brahmans. First, come and live a little bit in Central Asia before calling and judging, ok????

Jesus Christ. Calling someone from the Indian subcontinent a "paki" is racist move regardless of whether you regard the person using the term a 'proper' racist or not (and 'proper' racism is a fucking nebulous concept if ever there was one). I knew this before I was 10 - has something changed?
