Can't see myself getting excited about this.
Just musac to me, the kind of stuff you hear in elevators. Good luck to them though, I suppose.
At least it will give me a chance to tell everyone about the time my mate Vanessa was sick on Chris Lowe's shoes. Again.
Between Very and Release I wasn't that much impressed with PSB. Huh, Very sounds so outdated now, so flat. It didn't seem so at the time.
But Release was quite a fresh re-start. And it took me a year to enjoy Fundamental - too many slowers. But after I saw them in concert I got into it. The lyrics and those invisible bizarre sound effects (thank Trevor Horn) do work on psychological level. The Sodom and Gomorrah Show is a top tune.
The only thing that worries me that they become more and more openly gay, though at times, I can't help it, it's truly hilarious.

They make really good music...for some, it might not be your kind of music. That's OK.
But I can't wait till the new album comes out.
Not my kettle of fish since the mid 80's sadly (except for 'Left to my Own Devices')...
They just haven't really broken any ground since.
'You only tell me you love me, when you're drunk' is a FANTASTIC single title though...

Don't get me wrong, I love their music and lyrics. It's just they used be very ambivalent about their love topics, I mean they were not really a "gay" band before these songs - in fact I didn't realize they were gay til the late 90s. You have to understand I love women and I want lyrics that can also appeal to me! :)

Yeah I'd agree with that.Only one springs to mind off RELEASE,can't remember the song but it's about a lad who goes backstage of a theatre production and gets off the male star! But the rest of their songs have been pretty ambiguous,even TO SPEAK IS A SIN,which you could apply to 2 gays,2 married partners...

the song is called 'THE NIGHT I FELL IN LOVE' song 'supposedly' about EMINEM, being homophobic.

There are a few, like that cover of Try it I'm in love with a Married Man; but the songs listed in the other post are hardly their entire catalogue of songs post-1994.

I like their music...I couldn't give a damn about anything, as long as they make good music.
