They're a weird bunch aren't they? I don't mind dogs, but dog owners are a bit 'not right' in my book.

Nowt wrong with having a dog. Although I've seen the same people who worry you so.

My dog is just a daft creature that shares a house with me, and barks when the post arrives.

Not at all. Just in from a driving lesson. My instructor has two dogs and she likes to start each lesson by giving me a blow by blow account of her 6AM dog walk, where she went, what kind of mood the dogs were in, how they reacted to the cold weather etc etc.

As I said, they're all of a certain 'type' are dog owners.

I've met the type, as Ike says...no kids, or life.

"you'll never gues what that furry fuckwitt EJ, did this morning" is the sort of thing I'm likely to say, but no more likely than I am to start babbling on any one of 100 subjects I know cunt all about. And it's usually worth hearing too, for he is an INSTENSELY daft little creature.

She has got kids. She's got two boys in their teens. You'd have thought that would've given her plenty to talk about. Bet she doesn't cook them proper dinners and stuff. Poor mites.

I own a cat. She fucking rocks. Except in the summer when her 'kill rate' averages out at about 1.5 mice a day and I've gotta chase her and them round my living room at 4AM.

I dont like it when I cant walk past a house in the countryside without the threat of being savaged. There is also something slightly tragic about the servile willingness of people to scoop up crap.

Not to mention the willingness of people to speak it, Dave.

erm...my dog does a good job letting the squirrels and possums know that they aren't welcome in the yard...

Fucking disgusting people some of em.

There WAS this bloke who let his alsation shit just outside my front path,i watched the dog doing it on several occations, but kept my cool and powerwashed the logs away,i'm far too nice with people,i now.

However, one day the dog did a massive chocolate milkshake, and i have to admit that i lost my cool.

I chased the bloke up the road and had it out with him, needless to say he ended up with a broken nose and two black eyes, the dog ran off never to bee seen again and i got done for assault.

Moral of the story, dont let yer dog shit on my path.....

i agree with grahame on this one. they let their dogs run free and think it's cute when they come up to you and start licking you. i find that rather disgusting myself. the constant barking...the poop on the ground...it all leads to a psychotic breakdown.

That's the reason I'll never have a dog. At least not until I can afford to employ someone to pick up its poos, or a garden that is big enough so it doesn't matter.

Concrete back yard and a power hose.

EJ rarely craps when being walked, and when he does it's in dog bogs.

Picking up poo is not function of dog ownership, but of anti0dog opression. Nobody makes you follow your cat, who's waste is INFINITELY more toxic. Nobody makes the cunt next door with 400 pigeons clean your car, or re-wash your laundry. Nobody prevnts you from taking THE most infectious, contagious and dangerous of "Pets" right into the supermarker.....ie 3 yr olds.

People don't take their cats for a walk though, do they?

What?

Are you saying that if an animal on a lead craps on my lawn that's a bad thing, but if it's just roaming free and unsupervised then it's a good thing?

I disagree I'm afraid.

That would mean all I'd have to do is fling EJ out on his own and let him shit his little heart out.

EJ actually serves a function....doorbell amplifier.....I'd miss all my expensive computer kit deliveries if it wasn't for him.

I think there's a fair distinction between an owner watching his pet defecate in a public place and someone whose pet roams around doing it. Put differently, it would be unreasonable to expect a cat owner to search the area around his home, identify the mess his own cat made and remove it whereas it's a relatively simple task to pick up something that you've just seen drop out of your pets arse.

It is funny to think that, in our street at least, a horse dropping its guts was seen as a cause for celebration. The first man out with a shovel would chuck it all over his garden and boast to his friends down the pub later.

Our next door neighbour had half a tonne of horse shit delivered to his wife one Valentines Day and what's more she was delighted.

Go, as they say in Fancy America, figure!

You're not doing the norf any favours there in the eyes of the sarf mate

So if a dogturd falls, and nobody is there to see it, does it make a mess ? ;)

Next door but 2 they have a big fuck off ginger bastard that used to shit on my lawn all the time.

One day put some catmeat out for the beautiful creature,i put a couple of drops of toothpaste in the meat and the big fat ginger bastard eat the lot!

Suffice to say i nearly killed the fucker, toothpaste and cats do not mix!

I have a low boundary wall that runs round my garden with carpet grippers stuck to the top of if.

Idont have a problem with cats anymore!(puts the burglars off anall!):evil4:

Yes but cat's have the good sense to bury their waste immediately after 'depositing'. You don't see piles of cat shit sat on the side of pavements or in the grass of your local park.

The cat is a far more discerning, intelligent, clean and independent creature. A fantastic pet to have. But only if you've got safe, green areas to let them roam around in. Keeping a cat indoors is just plain wrong. My cat's out more than she's in.

Not all cats are so clean, often domestication messes up their nature. I like cats too, they are DEFINITELY smarter than dogs, but they think we're cunts, hence you'll never see a guide cat

I SLIGHTLY prefer a dog as a pet, because I need to be sure who is pet and who is owner.....which can never be the case with a feline.

(That and the fact that a dog will never arrive home with a still breathing small creature and then vivisect it on the heavily populated dinner table).

Who in their right mind gives a flying shit (from any animal) what that shower of wankers thinks?

I'll tell you what did make a mess, that dogshit I just stepped in as I was leaving the dogshit-ridden park that me and Littleinoil went to play football in this afternoon. It was fucking everywhere. And not a catpoo in sight.

Yeah, that's bang out of order, no argument.

Thing of the past soon, doley types will be doing 40 hrs a week on shite patrol to earn their 80 quid.....and by this time next year there will be 8 million of them.

Public defaecation/urination by any animal or species is perfectly justifiable. Openly jogging in public is far more distasteful however.

Fascinating insight there Dave.

Any opinions on playing football with your son in public? Or what about a nice flogging?

What can you do in public these days?

Mostly because 'personal fitness' is a form of narcissistic self promotion, pursued by middle aged liberal inadequates trying to boost either their green credentials or resurrect their declining sexual ardour.

You know, speaking as someone who can generate immense heat around here, and has been doing so for a number of year, I only find Andrew King offensive in his sheer monotiny. It says nothing of any value, any insight, or indeed any interest.

I will let everyone in on a trade secret: if you must insist on trying to be the bad guy, at least believe in what you are saying.
