Anyone got any (new) horror movies they can recommend for this day?!
Saw Burt's recommendation 'Eden Lake' last week - not simply horror, more horrif-ic. 'Deliverance' with hoodies instead of hillbillies.
Also seen 'Outpost' of late. Another Brit-flick, but this time where modern day mercenaries come up against WWII Nazis who can't be killed.
Must be some more recent horrors out there I've not had the pleasure of yet?!

It's Friday the 13th today? ah that would explain why my company chose today to tell us they are looking to make redundancies. But then i haven't been made redundant for oooh.... about a year now? so it's probably time again.

just informed me that there are going to be redundancies at Balfour Beatty too,so we BOTH might be out of a job.
That film was excellent. It's called "Rec" and worlds above the shitty American remake, "Quarantine".
I didn't get much out of Rec. Not particularly scary 
And yes i am talking about the original.

Indeed, it wasn't scary, but theres plenty of laughs to be had. The carnage rivals Steven Seagals "Marked For Death. Many fun ways to kill the infected were displayed. Though for pure horror, i'll put in "Modern Girls" from 1985, and won't be able to sleep for weeks.
You could try the Hollywood remake of the Chinese film, "Gin Gwai". It's called "The Eye" - stars Jessica Alba - so there's your excuse ready-made ;)
Non-horror - if you haven't seen it already, "In Bruges" is very funny with a great cast.

I saw the "bollywood" remake, and the American one, lets just say, unintentional comedy is the best.
