Going out drinking on ur own

Some of my mates let me know they couldn't make it tonight for a few pints....so i'm on my own, leaves all options open

Going out by urself good thing or not to good?

Top tip - if you're going out drinking on your own, do it because you want to go drinking and you want to go on your own.

If you go out intending to meet new people and have a good time with them, you will spend the whole night feeling like a sad fuck who's sitting on his own. You will smile at people and immediately feel stupid. You will spill at least one (1) drink and you will go home unhappy.

If you go out intending to stay on your own you'll probably meet some great people, one of whom will be a medical student called Natalie who thinks you're really funny.

Something i've never really done.

I've never intentionally been out drinkin on my own,but always meet the lads down the local bout 3 on a sunday,one day they were an hour late and i was on my own

Luckily i knew loads of peeps in the pub where we meet.

Indian Community Centre down the road from me. Top place for a solo sesh. And Raj the landlord will always come over and shout "Who's winning?!! Who's Winning?!!!" when the Cricket/Football/ Boxing is on. Obviously one doesn't entertain going into town on a Saturday night on yer own. That would be sad. Yer local is alright though

Just stay in and drink!

It's cheaper.

(AND you don't have to smoke outside!)

Only done it in a trip or long drive where I'll sleeping some other place than home. But f yer around home, why pay $5-8 for a drink that would cost around half-dollar at home?
