What Moves You?

Just a question about music. I admit my favorite besides NO and good pop from Neil Finn is good old fashioned guitar. No production, no studio tricks-just straight tone-gets my soul.

For example Eric Johnson on "Austin City Limits" doing "Cliffs of Dover" I just wonder how does he do that?

Though he generally loops most of his songs, I respect mr Howie Day. The music has a unique quality live, and he can actually sing. No song's generally played the same, when he solo's, it's always slightly different from night to night.
