House of dolls

I have been trying to get this book for a while. Could not find a digital copy of it. amazon wanted over $100 for an '82 paperback edition.

I have a friend mailing me a copy out of a private jewish library. I should have it tomorrow based on tracking codes.

Question 1 : Anyone read it and want to comment?

Question 2 : Anyone know of software to take scan and convert to txt so I can keep a digitial copy or get it to my iPhone?

I have just read a short overview, a summary of this book and Iam not sure if I want to read it. Massacre.

I stayed in a cottage in the Lakes a few years ago. As we sat around the fire, I noticed a few books on a shelf. The first one was The House of Dolls. It was weird as we'd been listening to JD on the way up.

I'm ashamed to say I tried to bring it home with me, but my fella caught me and made me put it back
