best downloading sites

Limewire is awful now.

Free would be nice but i would settle for a reasonable subscription with top tunes.

Any suggestions?

Move over to torrents, limewire is sooooo 2001. Demoniod is by far the safest and best, in my opinion. Need a refferal probably (so not just any old yahoo can post spam on the site like Limewire does). More reliable and you can get whole discographies in one pop rather than trying to piece together an album....

yea, i just got going on this torrently thing

so far its feckin ace i use Pirate Bay & Minonova then, using Limewire as me client(i think its right?)

currently got the whole of black books, talking heads and badly drawn boy disgog on the go.

and me Edel how does one get one of these referrals, are they limited?

Importantly,download Utorrent as your client,not Limewire...It just seems to d/load faster,and Limewire is riddled with viruses

Yeah torrents are cool, but for the quik p-2-p stuff i use Soulseek

thepiratebay.org is still a good source for torrents (check them when u still can, they have been brought to court )

But also a google search for a certian title in combination with the word torrent wil get u good en unexpected results.

Forgot to mention, there is etiquette on Demoniod. Make sure to keep your torrents you download open until at least you have a 1:1 ratio of downloads to uploads. If you only download then don't allow anyone to download from you (being a leach) then there is the possibility of being kicked off the site.

And if you have an insanelt asymetric connection like mine (over ten times quicker down than up), you can sling them a few $ instead.

BEARSHARE (on GNUTELLIUMS) used to be brilliant,you could get some boss NO and DM remixes on there.But that went shit overnight.
