If those two "ladies" in the foreground are student.....QUB's admission standards have fallen, even since they let Liam in.

 I never watch or read the NI news if possible. Were they Uberprods or Megafenians, or just a bunch of retards from the Ormeau who claim to be students cos they study GVNQ hairdressing half a day a week.

The problem with Queens students today (and it was a problem in my day as well) is that the fuckers who live in the Holylands dont recognise that there's a community who live there and lived there well before any of those fuckers did. I watched Newsline last night and saw this old woman who was just distraught as to whats going on. And everytime this has been broached, some gobby fucker says "I dont know what the problem is, its just a bit of craic".

Everytime I'm back in Belfast during term time, I get off the bus at the bottom of University Street, and walk up to Queens and everytime without fail I see the carnage from the night before. I dont see this when I'm in Fallowfield, or any other student area I've been too.

Yesterdays events were just so predictable. I'm sure you can relate to this Steve, but nowadays over there, kids pass the 11+, they are taught how to regurgitate information in an exam, and have no sense of discipline in them. So they arrive in Belfast, think they can do what they want, generally do it, and then run back to mummy and daddy at the weekend to get their washing done.

And no one does anything about it. Fail.

Like when The Committments came out. All these numpties on art shows giving it "it perpetuates ludicrous sterotypes......I mean horses in council estates.....that's so racist, nobody keeps horses in council estates" Ten mins on a northbound service from Connolly station says they do :D And why the fuck NOT? eh?

Shows what you know Steve:D there IS NO TRAIN to Ballymun (the site of those parts of the movie) - you need to get the no.13 Bus from OConnell St :thumb: & these days you hardly ever see a horse getting in the lift - because they are re-developing that kip into a lower-rise mess.

BTW Snoopy - I recognise 2 of the GAAH shirts from those pics - Mayo & Leitrim - bloody Connaught sc*m starting all the trouble as usual!

I'm only dimly aware of the new education culture of catacysmic (or cataclismic) learning. I know it used to be the preserve of the CSE students in my day, and that GCSE introduced a measure of it for all, but it seems to have spiralled out of control, which, as you say, leads to all manner of spackers with no ACTUAL education, getting into university. Once upon a time, most of them woud have went to greenmount I suppose, but now mater and pater the turnip farmers want them to go to proper grown up university.

I have heard tales of fail from Queens that even you would find shocking mate. One of them involved a young lady, who'd daddy was head pastor (ie proddypope) of some turboprod sect.....you know the weird and wacky ones from out in ulster's arse end.....she got to QUB......found out that when a boy touched her special place, it felt nice.....so she proceeded to fuck anything with a cock for 3 months. Upon her mates finding her gut swollen, and her being sick every morning......they had to explain to her, not only what it what this curious condition was, but also what had caused it. Best bit is.....she said something like "why are you telling me these beastly lies....if they were true.....god would have told me through daddy". She vansihed back to daddy shortly thereafter. The thing I found most unusual was that daddy or one of the other godfreaks hadn't been playing with her special place since she was 7.

CLOSE YER QUOTES MATE THERE'S A DRAFT ;)

Equine residency also happens on the north side of the city too BTW.
