Lodging in London and Manchester

I will to travel to Europe in June for 2 weeks with a good friend of mine, I’ll be in Barcelona, Paris and Amsterdam; however my friend will have to stay in Barca for a week cause he will be taking a postgraduate course. During this time, I’d like to travel by myself to England…to London and Manchester…unfortunately, i can’t spend too much time how I’d wish, i think i could stay 2 or 3 days in each town, i know is not enough.. but I don’t want to miss this chance anyway and i want to start booking soon.

I’m pretty sure noolers from London and Manchester might provide me some info about hotels, or cheap places to stay and nice places to visit.

It would be great to meet some of you guys personally as well.I’ll be appreciated if you can help me!!

If yer on a cheapskate budget Hatters Hostel in Manchester was about £20 a night in a dorm the last time i stayed up there.
