It looks very nice, it could be new old stock, I had some dealings with this guy last year, he had put several shergold guitars and basses up on ebay again NOS, so I asked him if he had a marathon 6, the replies I got were a bit strange, like it was two people, one of which didn't know what I was on about, and nothing came of it.

If you've never played bass before, go to a decent music shop and get some advice, have a play even if you can't play, we all have to start somewhere, and it is embarrassing, but it's worth it, set yourself a limit, then spend double that amount!

Good luck with the bidding if you go for it.

I'm toying with the idea of saving for one of these http://www.music-man.com/instruments/guitars/silhouette-bass.html a bit dear, but it seems to have a nice thin neck

i've had a few odd responses from the seller which is putting me off slightly at the moment, but Jem is right, treat yourself:D

i've played, but only just a few moments on other peoples and that 8string shergold which was for sale few months back in manchester and im on me way to Johnny Roadhouse ( R.I.P ) tomorrow to sort out bridge, jack and strings, mr counter and fix it man said they had a fair few parts lying around, necks pickups the lot.

plus i've got to start somewhere eh, why not shergold i'll only kick myself for not getting it, like with the double neck shergold few weeks back.

haha, and as for my limit, got 1.3k left on my student loan to last me til 15th May, plus i work, soooo im going to go for, finally get round to getting a bass,

if i do win it, you'll get sick of me asking for advice etc...

oooh, now that looks well, shit, but reading about it sounds soo tempting to me even,

i've always been put of by the ernie ball series, just never like the name, so i've always avoided them, but 6string bass, shouldn't be in doubt

treat yourself!
