What a shower of shit they are. I love the way the Conservative and Libdems have kept their gobs shut, They no that their own shit is about to hit the fan. Forget giving them a London home, they can all stay at the YMCA. The cheating fuckers.

Best one is them fuckin Sein Fein fucks, they're all claiming for London residences (which are allowed for if you live an uncommutable distance away, not like the whore who lives 20 mins from the city centre but claims she cannot commute like her constituants), but they refuse to take their seats in the fucking house, which means they have no need of such a residence at all (except unless it's close enough for their mates to mortar No10 again, no bad thing really).

It's just snouts in the trough isn't it? Regarding Sinn Feinn, in an odd way they have the moral high ground over many of the others - at least they have been honest about their swindling.

More than a whiff of socialism about these Isles these days.

MPs salaries are pretty low alongside comparable jobs in banking, law, medicine

Annoys me to agree with Mr King, but MP's salaries at £63k are surprisingly low, and running up a £300k per annum expenses bill sounds like a pre-arranged agreement to offset the low salary.

Perhaps they should have gone for pay rises rather than just plain old corruption. Most heads of borough councils and some on the next tier earn more than £63k.

It's a toughie, as obviously the different moat/trouser press/shower chain etc etc claims cause mass outrage, and understandably so, we can't keep the position of MP as such a lowly paid one, relatively speaking, or it would become a folly of the rich.

I would be curious to hear what the equivalent to a UK member or parliament in the US gets paid...
