Whilst waiting in today, probably all day,for a couple of parcels(New phone and a new fridge freezer)It struck me-What a waste of a day off work.. Is it acceptable to get fucking leathered and pick the bairns up from school later, happy and drunk as fuck?

Being such a bastion of society comes easy to me,and I honestly don't think I'd think anything less of me.

No, it's not acceptable. For one your kids won't want you turning up pissed at the school gates. :nono:

But mainly, it's just not fair for you to be enjoying yourself while the majority of us are hard at work. Tut

The kids won't mind,I'll go dressed as a carrot..They'll love it.

Haven't you got work to do Missy?

hit the gin when loose women come on. most of the stepford wives at my local primary seem to. shame you can't leave the house, you could join the "secret knock" bunch of alky losers in the con club at about 9:30 am

Well the fridge freezer is here.I'm back in business!

I'm all excited now.I'm going to go shopping and stock the mutha up with nectar fodder... Then probably order takeaways for tea.Job's right!

I've decided daytime boozing is for wasters!

Until tomorrow, when quaffing could well be a beaut idea!:thumb:

I'm free tomorrow! Sounds like a good plan.Nice touch,thanks.

Oh,whoa there Kingfisher! The Cons Club,as in Conservatives Club? Won't it be full of Torys and have Maggie Thatcher paintings all over the gaff?

Love to,gadge.

I'd rather climb in a Romper suit fashioned out of the hideous Newcastle away strip and whistle 'Dixie' down Redcar High Street,be perfectly frank.

Nectar fodder? nectar is the drink of the goods, surely you mean ambrosia, and no I don't mean rice pudding and custard, but that's a great idea, doesn't go well with plenty of alcohol though.

Like the idea of picking the kids up pissed dressed as a carrot, can't see why anyone would mind that!

Sorry to be a pedant, It's just because I've been working all day!

thats a new one, someone posting about getting drunk rather than getting drunk then posting. Michael,i was fairly impressed by your temptation to do the school run drunk and dressed as a carrot. but i was MEGA MEGA impressed by you refusing to drink anywhere with pictures of maggie the iron bitch looking down on you :thumb:
