EDIT: I got one, it's a form email, I have about 75000 of them in the archive (and that's just the ones that the filter didnae get). It's purpose is to validate your email address, which makes it more valuable as a spam target. Unusually all the links in it appear to be what they state, normally they'd be spoofed to lead you to some site punting/sneaking malware or to a scareware scan (which about 75% of NOOLers would fall for, hook, line, sinker, float, reel, rod and tackle bag.).
Ironically, I think the only thing holding the spamwave at bay is the fact that most people run windows. If everyone ran Linux, and in the unlikely event that it could be made as fucked as windows, the net would buckle because both sendmail and procmail can spew mails about 150 times faster than either Outhouse, Outhouse Excuse, or even Sexchange. Windows is a water pistol protected by a sign saying "please do not do anything naughty, because it's naughty". Linux may have razor wire and machine gun nests, but that's because they're guarding an ICBM silo.

eeek indeed, colour me :o .......I should have added that I *knew* they more than likely weren't the same being, given that the initial post of "rita" here contains "bonus material" (so to speak) not found on the original missive. Thought I received a second one as well, but I can't seem to find it now; at any rate, I never replied to either.
