Time to reveal your most shamefully embarrasing gig..

Mine must be EMF back in about 1990 at Brixton Acadamy, it was one of those *ahem* "cool" phases you see :jawdrop:

Went to a Heart and Nightranger show in 83, I think, on a date. NOT my idea of a perfect evening, to be sure. :rolleyes:

Made up for it a week later by going to see Devo.

Gosh, my sister bought tickets to go see Tiffany back in 1980 something.. the show was cancelled, so I was saved.

But I'm very proud to say I've seen Samantha Fox live back in 1987 or 1988, I was 14 and horny.

I didn't see that much gigs in my life, I was a lot more into pop music in the 1980s and early 1990s, so I've seen gigs like The Bangles, Taylor Dane and Roxette. Lately, it's always been the usual suspects.. and I missed some gigs because I didn't find anyone to come with me!

The only cool thing about it was, the lead singer of the support band had a habit of swinging the microphone round his head until it wrapped itself around his neck that is!

Actually got one to top Sisters of Mercy and thats .... Kool and the Gang 1992ish :eek3:

must have blotted it out from my memory. I think there was about 25 of them on stage but thats all I can remember.

Yazz (my first ever concert, aged 10), Jason Donovan, New Kids on the Block, Guns n Roses, Steps, S Club 7, ....Carter USM :lol: ....and I've seen Kylie three times, which some of you may find embarrasing but is something of which I am quite proud :lol:

c.u.s.m. were quite good live though, & predated the order by having a fat bloke introduce them on stage.

I have the worst list of all. guaranteed.

t'pau, def leppard (with both an even & an odd number of limbs on stage) girlschool, y&t, marillion, bryan adams, tiffany at a shopping centre in b'ham, the wombles, heart, the mission etc.

the shame!

Haven't been to any dodgy gigs really, although Electronic were absolutely shite at Cities In The Park (with the only exception being a fantastic feel every beat) and The Farm were even worse at Elland Road 91!

Thank praise you saw them play AT ALL!! Electronic gigs were rarer than rocking horse shit!! well actually Other Two gigs were!!! :laugh: did they actually DO any gigs!! :evil: :lol:

Oh yeah, MC Hammer supported by Snap! My best friend's mad aunties and their mates took us in a minibus, got very pissed and made us innocent kids sneak booze into the venue for them. Now you know how I've turned out like this, the role models I had growing up :lol:
