Hum, what is exactly the topic here? best unreleased track or best track released before the LP was available?

I think he meant "per LP" as in fave track off each record, rather than "pre LP", whatever that was supposed to mean ! That's how I answered it anyway.

The pics were actually from Big World Cafe, a television show filmed at the Brixton Academy in, I think, about February 89. Barney was dressed in all white.

He actually wore a beige long-sleeved top and cut off denims at Reading 89. Cut off rather professionally with a neat turn at the knee. But obviously a jeans cut originally and not manufactured as a pair of shorts. I'm a sucker for detail, me!

Isn't there a "beige long-sleeved top" on Glasto's sleeve?

I won't argue as I'm on holliday, miles away from my CD collection so I can't confirm it... but when at home I'm gonna check it out, believe me!

I won't argue either as I can't find a pic on the net at the mo' - seems it's got a new cover now?

But, I've always thought - "Strange that the Beeb should use a pic from a C4 show", and not something from the gig itself (which was, allegedly video'd in full by the BBC to be broadcast at a later date, but never actually appeared). This was in the day before Glasto received the kind of ridiculous round-the-wall bells and whistles coverage that we're so used to today. You don't need to go to the festival now, just stick your feet up and watch it at home!

Just as I thought.

As I said, strange then that the Beeb should use a picture from a Channel4 recording!
