I saw the opening night of Kylie's first-ever US tour last night. What a fun show! The Fox Theater in Oakland is not that big so it's amazing the scale of the production they fit inside. She played to the crowd like it was Wembley.
I'm dead center in this photo from Kylie's blog, just over the left shoulder of the fellow in stripes. A large group of us dressed in white and attached LEDs to our clothes. We did that a couple of years ago when we saw Daft Punk, too.

I've always liked her music too. Her early stuff was proper pop, then she went a bit dancy and sexy. I saw her crawl onto the stage singing Confide In Me at Cream years ago and she was brill. Would love to see her live, certainly more than any other pop act around.
Never liked Danni though. She seems a bit dumb.
I wouldn't have given Kylie a look 10 years ago, always preferred Danni. Can't understand what I was thinking back then though - think Kylie's absolutely gorgeous now. She's stood the test of time really well.
Maybe it's an age thing, I dunno - just one of them things you appreciate more as you get older: cheese, architecture, fine dining, wine, Kylie.
Don't go an absolute bundle on her music mind, but she has had her moments.
And I've got this on the iPhone just cos I lurv the way she moves in the video. It reminds me of having a girlie mate from school who you'd never looked at 'in a sexual way before' then you come back from the Summer Hols and she's turned into a sex kitten overnight, and you get tummy tingles when you see her, though you can't quite work them out.

Well we'll just have to disagree. IMO Kylie has aged magnificently and arguably looks better (artificially or not) year on year, Danni gets thinner and more emaciated the longer her talent wanes..
I'll agree that back in the early days it was t'other way round..
