I presume a few people here will be going to Hooky's London book signing this evening at Fopp - would anyone like to meet up beforehand? I'll be there anyway - camera in hand, so I'm happy to take photos for people and email them on.

I don't know London very well, so a suggestion of somewhere to meet would be good - sorry, I'm a bit crap, aren't I?

Burt, Legge, Bonz, Nick, Johnny, Al, Chemical Al etc?

Don't think im bothering with the actual book signing but there is certainly a drink to be had somewhere.

I think Bonz, Ness and Sarah have arranged to meet somewhere.

I'm meeting miss canada in about an hour and will be having a couple around Great Portland St and then looking for everyone else.

Be good to see ya, Chris.

I might be talking bollox, though, as it seems Bonz is on her way to Birmingham :\ohwell:

With my non-existant knowledge of the geography of our capital, I'm unlikely to find anyone who's not at the book signing or the DJ set.

Yes, it would be good to see you again Dave. Do you still have my number? (phone number, that is...)

Would you mind asking her to kindly refrain from sending me pictures of her glass of white wine, when I'm stuck behind a 'puter for the foreseeable future.

It's just not cricket :nono:

Is Canadia coming into Euston?

I'm meeting Tim and Sunj in the Britannia at Euston after 5, although I think they're in there much earlier.

Doing Pixies though, so no Hooky for me tonight. Oh well.

A book signing that very swiftly had no books!! Oh boy - "How not not to do a book launch" anyone?!

Well, that was more the fault of the book store, surely?

A hundred and something people went away happy - I was the last to get a book signed. They probably ran out as they were selling them for £5 cheaper than the RRP...

Yup, or a BL gig, etc. You don't really seem keen at all on the band really... Thinking about it, I don't think I've ever met any NOOLers who are Cockneys. Can you name any?

It was because of all those wankers who bought two or even three books!

I got there and was told that the books were sold out so I had to quickly run down the street to Foyles to buy a copy (which was 4 quid more) and run back to Fopp to get it signed

I'm a true Viking!

That was quality - surely they should have had some spare lying about just in case such an event happened? :p

I was indeed being packed off, slightly tipsy, on a train to Birmingham. I believe your good lady did bump into my other half outside Euston. Gutted I missed Sandra, and that I didn't realise she was in the area, she could have met us in the bar!
