I don't believe that even Von Cobblers ever sat in a press conference with such an arrogant attitude. In fact, I don't think I've heard Schumacher say much about his own ability, he always credited the team. I understand that he took a more active role than any other driver in car development, enabling him to take more credit for having the best motor.
I'll admit, however, that I just don't like Button's stupid face. I was never going to be happy about this win. His comments at the press conference just made me like him less.

What's getting on my tits at the minute, apart from the ongoing election rigging nonsense (apparently the telegraph has a piece today....well done to the first mainstream journo to value the truth over his presspass), is the testing ban. Once upon a time good drivers came to F1, got fucked into rustwagons that were hard pushed to race the course cars, and as a result disappeared forever, consigned to the ex-f1 bin. Now we have 20 worthy vehicles on the road, so now we get kids with real talent, who have driven an F1 car only in a straight line....if at all, and they fuck up right left and centre, and get labelled as rolling accidents.
Very impressed with young Kamui, F1 needs fast and crazy Japanese blokes...Taku should have got a McRon drive if you ask me.

Funny, everything i've seen and read suggests otherwise, i'd say he's very generous in his praise of the team.
It's also said that the bond between him and the team is widely regarded as second only to the one that Schumacher had at Ferrari.

You picked a bad year to tune out, there has been some excellent racing, and many many races where there was no clue who would win until the last lap......think back....before von Cobblers and Scuderia Axis, that's what it used to be like (except '88 naturally).
To be honest, I'm not best fond of Jenson either, he IS a smarmy wankbag, and there were guys who kicked his hole in F3, who never got to F1.

F3's had some champions who've been seriously wank in F1 though Cambo. Jan Magnussen, Antonio Pizzonia, Piquet Jr, Ralph Firman. And on the other hand, Damon Hill was arse in F3

The thing is that planes bank when they turn, so the neck strain on a racing driver is worse. Most G's in planes are acting into or out of the seat, in car they are lateral. An F1 car accelerates and brakes faster than a carrier aircraft too!
