The Dead Weather

Went to see these last night at Manchester Academy. Anybody else familiar with them? I can honestly say it is probably the best gig I've ever been to.

Dead Weather are Jack White (The White Stripes/The Raconteurs), Alison Mossheart (The Kills), Dean Ferity (Queens Of The Stone Age) and Jack Lawrenson (Raconteurs).

I've never seen anything like it. The drummer and the guitarist would swap places, there were a couple of different people singing. Alison Mossheart is a true rock chick.

Anyway, my recommendation is, if you get the chance, then go to see them.

He is indeed. Apparently they can get together in a studio and knock out a few new songs a day!

Expect most of Horehound and a few from their new album.

Ooh ta for that. I'll be surprised if you don't like em. The music is a bit mad at times though.
