Er...not to my knowledge, although I heard she's originally from Mexico or something like that.

I was referring to the fact that he spent time in prison following an incident on an aeroplane. It would appear that he is something of an equal opportunist when it comes to rowing.

He's actually dead hard, you know. Black belt in something or other.

like that johnny marr. he's always got his fist in some woman's face.

i can't bear ian brown but i really liked something he said about booze recently.

"I've not had a drink in over 10 years, vicar. I don't like the feeling. I don't like the taste. It bloats your head and body. Liquor companies rule the world. They run every flipping music festival and sports promotion. There's a liquor store on every corner, a pub on every block. I'd love to see the world without liquor for a week."

opiate of the masses, innit.

A shame as his recent album is a bit of a return to form IMO... I try to avoid reading interviews with him these days as they're normally just long pieces of Manc swagger; just can't take him seriously banging on about the "underclasses" and "the kids" when he's holed up in Sarf Kensington :uhoh: undeniable he's had some cracking solo records though.

His PR will have a job on their hands with this... sounds a wee bit dodgy.

Fucking hell. How many of the heroes of your youth have to turn out to be knobheads before you just bang your head against a wall and scream I WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN??

Someone will be telling me that the bassist in the Inspiral Carpets is a kiddy-fiddler next. I know Georgie Berry will never let me down, though.

Before we all rush to damn too quickly I suppose it's best to wait and see what happens. After all, the 'assault' is only "alleged" at this stage - and 'assault' can constitute pretty much any unwanted physical contact. Him and the missus might just have been arguing about 'The X-Factor' and she's taken the hump at him patting her on the arse with a rolled up copy of the "Radio Times".

And just to pre-empt any criticism that I might be trivialising a serious case of domestic abuse, I guess it is just as likely that he battered his wife with an iron before throwing her down the stairs.

I just hope not.
