Jeff, Candy was the name of Ian Curtis' dog. Hence the tag of our own CandyTheDog aka CTB (bear).

If you have seen the video for Blue Monday 88, you know what the book is.. it's simply the same thing as in the video (I guess, I don't have it, so I can't confirm)
You're right about the book, Nicolas. This FAC 235 book you see in the picture is a reproduction of the ones handled by New Order in Blue Monday 88 video. 300 (or maybe 350) books were produced for Factory as a Christmas gift in 1988.

uhm...well...actually...I did know that, but at the time I posted that, I was on about my 18th beer, so got a couple of nuggets of information crossed up, and all that good stuff...thank you though!!! now I shall go and get my hat!!!!
the dog was owned by the person that made the video, though dont know their name. there was a series of photo's of the dog also published, though not new order related i think. (prepared to be shot down in flames here)

HIBBY :D
The dog went on to star in the little known straight-to-video science fiction epic 'Space Cats'. The dog was the lead role 'Tony' who had to ensure safe passage of a craft travelling from planet A to planet B past the 'Cat people'.
Unfortunately the dog 'Fay Wray' caught a mild cold after staying up too late and the end scenes were played by a substitute dog 'Carl Jones' who later went on to star in the film 'Dog Wars'.

And let's not forget the all-feline version of Lord of The Rings, from the mid-eighties. Fay played Sauron, the evil baddie, while Morris the Cat played Frodo.
