Grace Jones, Gary Numan, The Human League, The Orb and one yet-to-be-announced act are set to perform in the 5DX dome this April in London.
The mobile dome, which debuted in Miami, will be set up in the grounds of Kensington Palace from April 7-11. A ‘multi-sensory’ venue, it boasts 3D Surround Sound, 360-degree visuals as well as dining facilities, with five-course meals for guests. Organisers have said that the acts will perform "live vocal performances" at the shows.
"The technology of the 5DX dome is so new it's scary. It's the entertainment equivalent of walking into a laptop - the audience are immersed in a 360 degree digital environment unlike any experience known before,” Numan claimed.
He added, “The songs that will be performed at the 5DX dome will be a combination of existing and new, unreleased material but all have been exclusively reworked for the event."
