It was a fantastic song, and the band would have been much bigger if it wasn't for the womens lib bunch campaigning against them for the blatant sexism of the song, but that's rock & roll for you.

I've just had a listen on you tube and can't hear it but according to the recording engineer, David Tickle, when interviewed in Sound on Sound magazine in August 2006 the backing vocals go 'Fuck-a-me, fuck-a-me too much, my Sharona'

This was the Dead Kennedys' "answer" to The Knack's "My Sharona".

Awww, that's too bad. I still listen to that song to this day. It's a great workout tune.

Not saying it was, but it was their direct reaction to The Knack's "sell-out"
