You know the menu bar that runs along the bottom of the computer screen? The one with the Start menu on it and other icons. Well, somehow last night I managed to put it vertically down the right hand side of my screen. I've tried all sorts to put it back but failed.

Anybody know how I can do it? I just don't like it!!

(I tried to put this in technical chat, but it kept failing - so apologies for putting it here)

Edit: Shit, it seems it did work, so there are now 3 posts - oops!

You can just drag and drop it back down along the bottom, no?

(If it won't move, right click on it and make sure 'Lock the Taskbar' isn't ticked)

Yup, as Old Blue says, click on an empty part of the toolbar (keeping mouse pressed down), and move the cursor back to the bottom of the screen - toolbar should follow (unless it's locked - as above). Let go of the mouse button, when it's in the right place.

Easiest way it to take the monitor and whack it really hard in the direction you want the toolbar to go... sometimes dropping it on the ground works best.:thumb:

Did you see the speed of all those responses once the eyelashes were fluttered. If it had been anyone else you'd have been first response Steve.

Many moons ago, there were few who bothered much with our Jem. Just me, Col and a coupla others who appreciate a good mental case when we meet one. Then either a picture of her appeared here, or yous all met her at a gig, and suddenly, she's the most popular girl in school. And men say CHICKS are shallow

Just remember Jemmy, some of us thought you were class before we knew you were cute :D
