Saw em last night in small club in Newcastle for 3rd time this year. Reckon im hooked! Bloody fantastic, Much better than on their over produced records. Did this mental 10 min Kraftwerk style version of 'counterpoint'. nice to see a few 'oldies' there as well as the kids:love:

Was talking about this last night with Ally. Musically, they don't remind me of NO, but live it's a bit different. They all seem to interchange jobs quite seamlessly, one minute one is singing, next minute playing guitar or keyboard, and more frequently banging a drum pad.

They also do some experimental stuff in their hits and make them a lot longer than on record. They keep doing it with This Momentary. Off to see them again on Monday.

This is from last time:

Yep, I'm looking forward to seeing them on Monday.

Much more familiar with the album now and eager to hear the songs a bit more rough, ready & experimental on stage. Specially if they're swapping instruments around

Saw them in Newcastle on Friday night also. They were very, very good. The venue (Digital) was pretty cool as well.

Seen them a couple of times now. They're brilliant. Both were really good gigs!

We were there Andy, shame we didn't see you...I thought they were really good live! Digital's a nice little venue too

They're playing Orange Evolution this year as well I think.

Saw them at the Field Day fest in London last summer. Was already an owner of the Counterpoint 12" (a top 5 tune of the year for me) so was thrilled to see them do it live. BUT that was their best choon. AND I thought the lead singer's voice was less than impressive. Also thought that neither the singer or the other members had any stage presence. I understand they've beefed up the show with lots of impressive lighting since then, so maybe that helps. Wasn't prepared to fight to get a ticket for more recent shows. Some bands get hyped and suddenly tickets are rarer than hobby horse shit, some don't and tickets are easy peasy. The hyped bands aint always the best ones. But they're alright. Not bad. Ok.

See above videos for what they're like now...

And tickets were fairly easy to come by from touts outside the venue...

The light show is fcuking bonkers from what I saw last night.

The National Grid must've been under pressure.
