Those of us stateside got to see Steve Coogan on Conan O'Brien's last Thursday. He came on, did the ususal interview bit, and briefly plugged the flick. The clip shown was dull (just them opening the Hacienda), but nevertheless my happiness was complete. What'd you guys think?
Coogan on Conan

Sorry there, I was sound asleep at that point ( I get up at 4 a.m. every Friday) so I missed it.
Oasis were on, eh? Did Conan try to talk with Liam and Noel, and did Liam act as goofy as the time he did on MTV with Carson Daly?

No Liam, no talking-to-the-band-afterwards. Just a shitty song done by Noel.
Well, I'm a bit bummed about missing Coogan, but quite happy not to have seen Noel singing. Since I gotta get up so early on Friday, I don't even bother checking the listings to see who's on what show anymore..

As my love-hate relationship with Oasis turns to one of general disgust, I think back to the time when I would've considered buying any Noel solo albums (something I very well openly advocated perhaps on this forum) and ask "why doesn't he just do that?" He obviously hates having to drag his brother's ass around to sing his half-written crap, why not do it himself? At any rate, you didn't miss much
