Just watched first episode of this on BBC1, and it really was rather excellent.

It's got that Idris Elba fella in it, swapping sides of the law and Atlantic, and with his proper Brixton accent putting on a hefty performance as a slightly fucked up cop solving crime with a serial killer nemesis slightly fit redhead lass (proving all redheads are pure evil) as an ongoing thing in the background.

BBC drama is back in form. :thumb:

This still gets the occasional spin round my gaff of a Sunday morning. A true club classic. One of the last 'in the closet' global superstars was our Luther.

Neither of them are in their 40's, Mr Order. Stringer's still only a 30-summat and McGann's surely now in his 50's! He's been around for ever. :laugh:

Some excellent dialogue in this, especially the exchanges between Luther and the crazy ging-uh.

I can see that the bird's gonna ruin this series for me already though. She's just too weird. You probably would though, but sleep with one eye open after.

am I the only one who celebrated the day Mr Van DROSS died? Not on a personal level of course, he might have been a nice chap. But my joy at finding out he wouldnt be making any more DROSS records outweighed any sympathy by a zillion miles. PLease lets not start the dead-DROSS-comeback on this site! And while I'm at it, when's Tupac gonna shut the fcuk up?!

Apparently it was easy to tell whether he was in a relationship or not.

Relationship=Happy=FAT No relationship=Unhappy=THIN(ner)

When I opened this thread I thought it was going to be about MARTIN.
