Top 5 Trip Hop

Need some suggestions. In the mood for triphop and my collection is pretty weak in this area.

One trip-hop monster I can name is The Dream Of You, track nine on the 2004 Intervox album The Darkest Hour.

I bought five copies at the time, but only have one copy left. I've just Googled the track and have found this mp3 clip for streamlining only:

Portishead "Dummy" is a must.

If Nathan Barley didn't invent this ridiculous sub-sub-sub genre 'classification' then he bloody well should have.

I agree, I have the all Portishead, Massive attack and Olive... but that's about it.

I really love this style of music, but when I look up online, the lists all have different groups I never heard of.

Try Depth Charge 'Nine Deadly Venoms' album from 1994. Johnathan Saul Kane was behind the Depth Charge albums and is generally credited with inventing the 'trip-hop' genre.

In particular Shaolin Buddha Finger:

I feel like pulling out a piece of cardboard and start dancing in front of my local 7-Eleven with that song....

...not quite the cuppa-tea I was looking for... maybe I'm not after proper trip hop, but something more along the lines of Mezzanine and Dummy.
