Was posting from iPhone and haven't worked out yet how to do YouTube from it on to here.

I remember The Tube's Midsummer's Night thing from summer 86, The Smiths doing Panic and my mum saying is that all he blimmin sings, 'Hang The DJ?'

The Tube always had that slighty crap sound on the live performances, guess it was the acoustics in that studio?

Look at the massive smile 30 seconds in. He knew he was doing something ace and he didn't care who knew it. No wonder he had to go. The rest of it is pretty terrible, by their standards, mind.

I'm sure I remember sitting and suffering through Level 42 on The Tube once in about 1984 doing a song called Hurt and it being a complete rip off NO's track of the same name .Had a look on YouTube for it but came up with nowt. Come to think of it, it may not have been Mark King wanking away and could gave been some other band but my memory tells me it was Level 42 . Very odd.
