Publishers battle to bag Morrissey memoir LINK

The singer, 51, revealed that he has completed 600 pages of the book. But he wants his life story to sit alongside Gandhi, John Stuart Mill and Malcolm X in the Penguin Classics pantheon. :deal:

Oh, I can really see this now.... Mozzarella Rockafella in the same league as Gandhi.

Get real man..... you're the thinking man's Charles Hawtrey, and forget Oscar Wilde.

   :evil4: :evil4:

Whatever next? A biography of Brandon Flowers of The Killers where the authors consider him on a par with Charles Dickens????

Morrissey, I'm sad to say, despite his recent American Migration and his fondness for Mexican Culture (look at that pic of him in that sombrero - pure class!) is about as quintessentially English as Benny Hill.

I hope he's being facetious. You never know with Mozza, wonder what he'll have to say about Rob, Tony and Factory? Can't imagine that it'll be anything 'positive', what did Rob say about/to him? Something about Ian having the guts to actually do it or something?

He's got another compilation being released this week,so I guess the news about the autobiography is just drumming up publicity for that, and he's managed so annoy some people with this comment relating to David Cameron's support for stag hunting..

"Killing a stag is like killing a child. What's the difference?"

Im pretty sure stags can run the faster of the two so I guess theres a greater sense of achievement?

On the other hand a stag is usually a larger target (unless you take into account childhood obesity) and therefore harder to miss :confused2:

Good point. I think Mozzer would be very pleased at the stimuating debate he has begun.

A stags head looks better when stuffed and mounted on the wall
