Clearly, he hadn't foreseen Black Lace, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers etc etc.

The year 2000 was the worst though: Coldplay, U2, Destiny's Child and... S Club 7. :spit: 'Nuff said.

Scouting For Girls are terrible.

The Feeling are beyond terrible.

There's too many to mention, sections of the UK music scene at the moment are pretty dire. Same old shitey guitar pop with a whiney vocalist going on about lovey dovey stuff.

aye, Queen are up there with the worst. Bohemian Rhapsody always has me scrambling frantically for the mute button.

Scouting For Girls yep, awful name & awful band.

Can never tell the difference between The Feeling and Maroon 5, same band same shite to me. I'm at an utter loss to understand both bands appeal :scratch:

Theres a couple of guilty pleasures on there and a few that have done maybe 1 song I don't mind.

Menswear were really crap though weren't they? Worse than modern romance even.

Actually, I find the Killers entertaining for all the wrong reasons - I can't really despise them as much as the above bands I have listed, simply because they do have their uses - as in unintentional high comedy.

I've started to warm to Brandon Flowers's unimpeachable sense of the absurd.

Mainstream white rock radio in America has some of the most lame, unoriginal, hard pseudo rock. Pearl Jam and Soundgarden opened the door for these people, somebody outta travel back in time and make sure they never released a CD.
