I know a lot of people here think that The Cure are a pile of shite, but I reckon New Order could learn a thing or two from them about doing something special for their fans. In Berlin on 11 and 12 November, The Cure will be playing their Pornography, Disintegration and Bloodflowers albums live, in full and record it for a collector's edition DVD. If you guys could pick three New Order albums for a similar treatment, which ones would it be? And where would you like to see it recorded?

The fact that Get Ready is the only album where there is still tracks they didn't play live would be a logicial choice for us fans.
But if I had to pick, my choice would be Technique.
This is nothing new, I remember Depeche Mode's SOFAD Live album.. not a bad thing, even if Shug doesn't like them!
The Cure can do these 5 hour sets though, because most of the audience are asleep after 10 minutes and nobody notices what rubbish they are churning out !
If (and it is such a big if that it is barely worth considering) New Order did three albums back to back, it would have to be Low Life, Substance and Technique. No chance though.
PC&L, Technique and...for some reason I fancy Movement as the third. Not sure why...maybe it would be somehow more intense or something.
Or maybe I'm talking out of my arse?

Somehow given their history, I don't see a "three-album-paloza" occuring, but if I had to pick it'd have to be Low-life, Technique, and PCL. As to where they could record that...my hometown, of course! Like I said, never gonna happen.....

Well, I'm not saying that these three albums are perfect. Yet Ultraviolence would be less a problem than the infamous Shellshock and State of the Nation.
Technique, cos it's the best album Get Ready & The Best Of (US).....this had Age Of Consent on it didn't it?:D
