Anyone got it or read it yet?

I might buy this one yes. If it's anywhere near as good as Bez's Freaky Dancin' book it should be a good read.

I'm surprised he can remember much. I hope half of the book isn't on his time in the jungle.

Bez's Freaky Dancin' was fantastic - I picked it up for 50p at a secondhand place in Macc a couple of years ago just out of curiosity and he really told it like it was....

I got that a few weeks ago but ain't got round to reading it yet.

No, he dictates to a little baggy facsimile monkey of himself which he keeps tied up in his bedroom and regularly keeps amply tanked up with requisite recreational subtstances.

I t got a good review in the Times today Says it like it is, but doesnt include those penthouse photos. celeb now our Sean.

Another book i've only just caught up on. Finished reading it last night. Found it really hard to put down, many anecdotes i've never heard, some i'd forgotten but now fondly remember ( Shaun dropping his methadone at Manchester airport in 92, wish i could find a clip of that )

Only part i found a bit odd was when he recalls the Cities In The Park festival in 91 he doesn't anywhere mention that it was in memory of Martin Hannett who as Shaun says elsewhere in the book he was a big fan of and of course produced Bummed

Still, really enjoyed reading it. Half a mind to dig out Bez's Freaky Dancin' book and read that again now

Yeah, ive read it. I'll stick my neck out and suggest its been 'ghost-written' but its pretty good until the Black Grape split, its kind of dull after that and its clear thats when his recollection is at its weakest.

Also, to bring it back to current affairs, although SWR is right behind Hooky in what he's done and continues to do, most every reference to Hooky is regarding money, owed, lost and spent. Hmmm.

It's been sat here since it was released it will probably be in the Bargain Bin by the time I get around to reading it.

Still have to get through Mick Middles "Factory" book, and "Touching From A Distance".

I watched Control but I'm thinking the book will be better, they generally are.
