That's how it comes across isn't it. All very odd but that's Empress for yer. This latest statement is up there with that seeing Simple Minds in a Navy setting twaddle he was mumbling on about a while back.

If you have a look at the Simple Minds thread, you'll see I spelt the word "navy" without a capital 'n' (the colour, NOT the armed force). :banghead: Someone was misquoting me. :banghead:

Next time I tease Burt I'll message him privately... :nonono:

Wanting to see Simple Minds in a navy setting as in the colour navy is just as odd as wanting to see them in a Navy setting:lol:

Though simply wishing to see Simple Minds at all is just weird. Why would you wanna do that?

So how does this navy setting work then, Empy lad?

Are all the walls draped in navy velvet? Does everyone have to dress from head to toe in navy?

And also please explain to us how Horten Market is going to take on those nasty bad terrorists. Thanks:D

I think Jim Kerr is more fond of wearing black for the slimming effect it supposedly has, speaking of chubby rock stars, there was a photo of Robert Smith in the Guardian this week which was very scary, He looked like an angry walrus, maybe he is the man to take on the terrorists..

Yeah i saw that interview, read some of it. He said "I objected to being born. Living, it's awful for me"

He really is a complete and utter knob end isn't he. What an utter cunt. Living is awful for him. Oh dee fucking dums.He says this in the week families of those who died on 9/11 are having to relive losing their loved ones all over again.Wonder if he's ever thought about how awful life is for them. Doubt it.

The guy is scum. Absolute scum.

Perhaps its a big venue, and all the masses of empty seats are navy blue.

Robert Smith looks like Jo Brand these days anyway.

And when someone pointed out some years ago that Jo Brand reminded them of Robert Smith (e.g. the unkempt shaggy hair) she promptly went and cut her hair short, cos she was mortified at the comparison. Ironically,it was ANOTHER comedian with the surname Brand [Russell], who ended up adapting the rat's nest barnet look later on..... funny that!
