Last night I took ma record player up tae the new flat, what New Order song "christened" the new gaff?

The clue is one of Barney's favourite words...The tune was rather "Ironic" and I never really realised till the song had finished:lol:

To give everyone a chance (from other countries)...we can have a few winners, but they'll be shoved in a hat and drawn by an independant adjudicator.....probably Baldrick:lol:

So you can give only 1 answer......I will not reveal the answer until everyone has had a chance to reply.

The video will include live TV Appearances, and maybe a couple of documentaries etc....

Good Luck;)

Shug, Its got to be Rock The Shack. Seeing as the flat overlooks the Rockingham Arms boozer. You boys make sure you behave this weekend especially Sunday when the Celts destroy the forces of darkness. PS Dont fall asleep with the chip pan on.

first thought was subculture - what with you being a plastic scotch person & it mentioning shafting... then thought too obvious & hardly likely to be 1st song you'd listen to. next guess perfect kiss what with its paen to masturbation (& how close that subject is to you) staying at home & playing with your pleasure zone indeed. then realised that less amusingly the answer is regret & its references to having a place of your own. & its ironic for 2 reasons.

  1. the title. obvious.
  2. the having a conversation on the phone aspect - who would want one of those with you!!!!!

so my answer is regret.

p.s. only joking about the 2nd reason. or am I?

And to steal a catchphrase from Peter Kaye experience

"Am I right? I'm not bloody wrong"

BTW.....Peter Kaye show tonight is one of the best ever....it's The Ice Cream wars episode....class, pure class;)

Nope, and do ye's not have VHS video's over there?

we have VHS videos, but UK and US videos aren't compatable. there are 2 different regions for video players. i don't know why. i think it's just to make life very, very difficult for people. (well, i think it's to prevent video piracy across the atlantic since the US gets most movies released on video first, but, still, it's highly annoying.) this is why my 'animal house' and 'willy wonka' videos sit in my friend's house in scotland and aren't here in fla with me, damn it. :nonono:

Unbelievable as it may seem to you Britons the UK is a place that grows very strongly on you. I live now in what I honestly think is the best country in the world and one of the most beautiful cities of Europe and still miss England (Scotland is beautiful too Shugster!)and have to refrain myself from going back to London or Mancland.
