not really regions for vcrs, but more to do with the no of lines on the telly screen. we have pal in europe & they have ntsc in the us (rumours that it stands for never the same colour are not true) you can get vcrs that will play pal & ntsc.

Where are these vcrs? I desperately need one, as I've had the NO Story and Best of vids, and as yet have not had the chance to watch either! I got an adaptor, but I didn't read the fine print (converts videos FROM ntsc to pal, not the other way around). As the Velvet Underground sang on "The Velvet Underground", 'That's the story of my life....'
