I'm sad to revive this thread with Adam Yauch from the Beastie Boys (47). R.I.P.

A horrible story. No offence to the holy drumstick but we dont know for a fact he did it as hes only been charged with the offence so far. It wouldnt be the first time someones been found guilty before the trial begins. Look at the neighour of Jo Yates, weird looking bloke=guilty.

Anyway.

Yup. The word 'legend' is bandied about all too often but some people earn that status whether they're comfortable with it or not.

My external hard drive[:(] Suffered a fall of about 1 foot onto wooden floor about a month ago, somehow didn't get round to checking if it was alright until today. It's not, it sounds like it's trying to scan the internal disc but jamming. It was switched off at the time which i've read might mean it's not completely had it. Mostly movies i can accept not watching again, music i can download again off Soulseek but i can't at present remember what unreplaceable pictures ( not porn) i had on it. I've read it can cost hundreds to retrieve data off these things in the event of an accident[:(]

Peter Rauhofer died 07/05/13 aged 48. Remixer of Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode and Orgy's Blue Monday, along with more commercial stuff like Madonna, Kylie, Adele and many others. I wasn't a fan of all his stuff but I liked what he and PSB did with 'Break for Love'

Robert "Throb" Young of Primal Scream. In terms of 'celeb' or musician deaths, this one has made a real impact on me. Seen this band live more than any other band. Always hoped that one day he might rejoin. Mani (not currently in the band) occasionally posts as "Mr Gary" on the Primals forum, and logged in to break the news yesterday.
