I'd only just got over my relief at Arctic frickin Monkeys NOT making no 1 when that joy was dashed by the unfathomable Coldplay win.Got bored of that Elbow song years ago also.

Highlight for me was Johnny Cash 'Hurt' making the top 10.

same. it's a lovely song and i loved it for a long time (helped in no small part by watching the sun set over their stage at latitude as the whole crowd sang along with them), but it's been killed by overplay.

It's when someone I know on there "likes" some commercial type thing such as for example "Arthurs Day", I just feel like giving them a ...

Enjoyed that. Hadn't seen it for years so good to watch again . Tippi's so cool .

The ending of that film feels unresolved for me. I kept waiting for the caged bird to be freed so that the other birds would would stop attacking the people.

Speaking of birds i keep seeing lately that phenomenon where hundreds of birds swarm, circle and swoop together . Is it Starlings or Swallows? Can't remember. I 've seen them each late afternoon /dusk this week over the park about half mile from my house.Always seems to be this time of year (February) you see it. Great to watch

Starlings I think, I used to see them before doing something similar over a small lake in my town which has an island in the centre of it, I used to love seeing them but if they happened to swoop over your head you would get hit by a lot of bird droppings...
