Yep that's her. I'd watched Attack The Block quite recently so recognised her quite early on in Broadchurch. She was also in the Entire History Of You episode from the first series of Black Mirror

Yeah the memory chip one. She played opposite Tony Kebbell in that episode. My favourite of the first series though was Fifteen Million Merits. Every time i hear I Have A Dream by Abba since then i can't help but think of the opening scenes to that episode.Also brilliant scenes in that episode were Bing's speech and Jessica Brown-Findlay singing Anyone Who Knows What Love Is (Will Understand)

i click to quote one person, then copy the text in this little writing box, go back to the thread, click to quote the next person, paste the copied text into the little writing box. voila! two quotes.

or you could do it using the html e.g. [ quote=name ] before the quote and [ /quote ] at the end, without spaces.

or there's probably a much simpler and easier way to do it that i don't know...

Well i watched this film Looking For The Sugar Man. About this Rodriguez guy who should have been the next Bob Dylan apparently but disappeared and was thought to have killed himself on stage in the 70s. Turned out he was still alive and the film is about how he was tracked down and made some comeback concerts in South Africa where he was massive.It was alright i spose but then i'm not South African. Had heard rave reviews about it so gave it a go. Should have known better though as on of the rave reviewers was Edith fucking Bowman.God, sorry but i can't stand that woman. I just think she's horrible.I really should have known better than go on one of her reviews, ugh.

Watched the culture show special on The Smiths last night.Fairly well made though a little short at half an hour, i felt.Or half an hour too long tee hee.

The Fall on BBC2.This is really good. Gillian Anderson ( never really been a fan of her but hey) on the hunt for a serial killer in Belfast.

I watched Mike Leigh's Another Year on C4 last night.I'd not seen this one of his before.One of those films where i'm restless and thinking about going and doing something else for the first half hour but by the end am totally engrossed in the characters and what happens to them.That's the genius of Mike Leigh i guess.

The wife Gerri of the middle class couple rubbed me the wrong way more and more as the film went on.Lesley Manville as Mary, more and more desperate and rattled by the end.

This weekend watched the original Casino Royale. Herb Albert & The Tijuana Brass Band kinda killed it, that and the whole 60's vibe. Entertaining and I do enjoy watching Ursula Andress.

The Hobbit yesterday was my napping movie and I did nap through some of it.

Django Unchained. Did not make it to Leo D's entrance. Felt like I'd rather be outside than watching that. Wifey was annoying flinching at all the gratuitous violence and bullet holes.

Does anyone else spare a bit more time for any actor who appeared in 24HPP or Control? I do. Its not always an easy task, for every Bernard Sumner in Life On Mars theres a Bez playing a paedo in Eastenders.

In fact, I have in the past based my viewing on whether or not theres an actor involved from one of those films.

i saw john simm in pinter's 'betrayal' at sheff crucible last year. absolutely fantastic. hoping i'll get to see him in 'the hothouse' in the big smoke in the next couple of months.

have only just caught up with 'the fall' and am very much enjoying it. however, i do not recommend starting to watch the whole series at 11pm, falling asleep halfway through an episode and then having very bad dreams. (i did laugh/cringe at the "oh, so you are SHOCKED that a woman can use a man as a sex object? *arches eyebrow*" bit. I AM WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR.)

there's a mark e smith/gillian anderson joke to be made here, but i cannot be arsed to think of it.

Is it just me or is The Fall really bloody scary? Definitely unsettling and disturbing. Also, I'd put money on Gillian Anderson making a pass at that female officer who in last night's episode revealed she's gay.There's definitely some chemistry there methinks.Though they'd have to be quick as there's only one episode left.

I had a discussion about this at work to day with a colleague, about how creepy it would be to watch it if you were in the house on your own.. My girlfriend watches it but I am usually out walking the dog when it's on.. And I don't even have a dog..[eek3]
