I always found Kate's song This Woman's Work ,although a fantastic song, unbearably depressing.Really not sure why, i haven't a clue.Maybe there's some long forgotten childhood trauma associated with it😕

Used to work with a lad many years ago who was obsessed with Kate Bush.He was forever regaling a story of when Miss Bush won an award at some music bash sometime in the 80s and her acceptance speech consisted of her simply saying "Oooh i've just come"😂 He always found this hilarious. It is quite funny though

it's a beautiful, melancholy song. always brings a tear to my eye and a lump to my throat. it's about a woman's life being in danger during childbirth, although i don't think you need to know that to be moved. i bet it's bloody written in d minor, too.

my favourites are wow, and breathing, and the man with the child in his eyes, and hounds of love. wasn't running up that hill the theme tune to a children's tv programme in the 80s?
